Our Mission

When placed in the right hands, with the right intentions and focus, directly to the programs and people making a difference and in need, a limited amount of outside support can be the catalyst to greater change, helping to bring together the potentials and resources already present.

It can provide technical assistance or help a project advance to the next level.

It can provide support to special projects and people that will be of lasting impact and continued long-term local involvement and support.

It can, and should, make an immediate, discernible change.

We believe that success is achieved by enabling people to maximize their own skills and resources and to work towards self-reliance, rather than a system of dependence.

Performing within the constraints and assets of local resources and working with others to achieve success with minimum outside support are essential components to an effective, locally-supported development program, a program valued and of use by the community.

While successful development efforts depend first and foremost upon local commitment, resources, and skills, outside resources may help expand a community's own asset base and strengthen a project's positive impact.

Without these outside funds for start-up, technical, and training assistance it may be determined that a lack of funds prevents a locally generated and beneficial project from occurring.

As such, we look to identify and spotlight those programs and people of particular merit and need, and provide direct transfer of funds through an immediate, direct, effective manner.
