GC Ristokat's Chippendale

"Chip" is a seal point Himalayan male, born in November of 2001. Chip is a beautiful example of the breed, with wonderful body and boning, a huge flowing coat, lovely head, and best of all, those deep and VERY blue eyes!

Chip Recently, Chip (and his baby sister, Joy) had a chance at stardom... They were invited to be part of a photo shoot here in town, to be used in the Iams "Your Cat" magazine coming up in the Winter 2003 issue. The article will be titled "The Handsome Himalayan", which seems appropriate!

We continued to show Chip during the 2002-2003 show season, and he ended the season as 6th Best Cat in the Northwest region, AND the BEST Persian in the region! We are very proud of him...

Chip is retired from breeding now, and is looking for a very special retirement home. He is darker than his younger photographs, as all Himalayans shade in as they grow older, but it looks like if his coat was allowed to fully grow out, it would lighten up some. He does have a BIG coat, so needs a home willing to keep it up, or else keep him in a shorter trim.

He is a total lovebug, and likes nothing better than to curl up with me in bed at night while I read, and just lay there purring.

He would actually be a wonderful kitty to show in the Premiership class, for somebody looking at getting into showing - he loved the showhalls, and has a wonderful personality.
