Unlike a pet store, we don't just sell our kittens to anyone with the funds to buy one - we conduct interviews and try to place them in homes which we feel are the best match for both the kitten AND the adoptive family. By the time our kittens leave for their new homes, they have been fully vaccinated, vet checked, and spayed or neutered. Kittens are at least 16 weeks old before they are placed in a new home - if you'd like to know why we wait that long, and why you should avoid purchasing a very young kitten, please read this wonderful article. All of our kittens are also placed with a contract - if you'd like more details, please feel free to contact us. Occasionally, we have cats that are retiring from our breeding program that will be available to a loving home. Our retired cats have been part of our family for several years when they leave, and we want only the best for their "retirement" home - a home where they can live the rest of their lives as pampered, spoiled, lap-kitties. Placing these cats doesn't mean we don't love them anymore, it just means we wish to be responsible breeders and keep the number of cats in our house at a level comfortable for both us, and the cats. As with the kittens, all retired adults placed will be current on all vaccinations, vet checked, and already spayed or neutered. |
